Instructional Writing - This is an essential part of creative writing which is often used in real life. It is about getting the sequence right and also making it easy to follow. Here in my 10 year old student has put down the steps of' How to make PASTA? Do try!

 

Unaided and organic drawing by my students in Speech and Drama class. Somehow, allowing them to 'be' matters. Once the drew the outline, one student quipped, " May I also colour it? Withing seconds after the class I received the colored work of the kids. Their enthusiasm and parents support in the online channel is inspiring to let learning happen despite tough times.

Anecdotes

 Anecdotes are one of the most impressive parts of Speech and Public speaking. It also breaks the monotony of the topic of speech. Much used as a reprieve from a serious matter, it can be a piece of refreshing comedy, short in its form and a powerful way to relax the reader/listener and gain his attention appropriately.

Care to be taken not to digress from the main topic and use it as a short personal narrative.
